2026 Grant Applicant Project Summaries
2026 Grant Cycle

Thanks to our amazing membership & support from our SuperSponsors, we are proud to announce $120,000 in grant funding to non-profits on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe!

Applications for our 2026 Grants were available from February 12th - March 10th 2026. Voting by our membership will be open from March 27th - April 2nd, with announcements on or around April 3rd of the results.
2026 Project Summaries

We want to support as many great programs across the following Areas of Need as possible!  Any non-profit organization that serves the South Shore of Lake Tahoe is welcome to apply to one Area of Need. Organizations that are looking to apply should focus on the Area of Need that best fits the goals of their program.

*Organizations that received a grant the previous year from TWCF are ineligible to apply (but welcome back next year).  Each organization is able to submit only ONE application.

Please see the infographic below as an example of how funds will be distributed in 2026. The Areas of Need will be prioritized after member voting.

More Grant Details

Each category represents a different area of need, and non-profits are invited to self-select the category their project/program best fits into. Nonprofits serving the South Shore of Lake Tahoe (both CA and NV sides) are eligible to apply so long as the projects/programs proposed in the application DIRECTLY serve the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Grant Applications are due before 11:59pm Tuesday, March 10th, 2026.

2026 TWCF Members will be voting on all eligible grant applications. The grants with the most votes in each area will receive funding. Recipients will be notified in April after voting by TWCF members has occurred. Grant recipients are expected to attend our Grants Gala on May 27 (5-8:30pm) to accept their grant funds.

If you would like some tips on grant writing for EDCF, please check out the El Dorado Community Foundation's new 20-minute presentation for all. This presentation is also found on their website at: https://eldoradocf.org/grants-catalog/
